If you’d like to disable this plug-in, you have to do it from within Chrome’s settings. At the very least, you should enable click-to-run for Flash content so it doesn’t automatically run on web pages you visit. If you need Flash for something, you may want to only install Flash for a specific browser and leave it disabled in your main browser. If necessary, you can reinstall Flash later. Even if you do need Flash right now, there’s a good chance you won’t need it at all in a few years. You may find you don’t need Flash at all after you uninstall it.
